Brick & Mortar office, owner responsible for B & M operational costs from gross receipts. Great opportunity for Travel Leader to become vested owner in business net profits while actively affiliated.

AGENT CONTRIBUTIONS:

Guides travelers by identifying itineraries; booking reservations, promotes our services, attends promotional events. Multii-lingual a plus.

* Promotes our services within the community to explain and spread the word about CoastalGeorgia.travel.

* Clarifies travel preferences by determining travel dates and destination, mode of transportation, and finances.

* Develops itinerary by assembling literature; offering personal experiences; commenting on local customs, points of interest, and special events; answering inquiries; offering suggestions.

* Schedules itinerary by identifying, booking, and confirming route, carriers, lodging, and dining; verifying space and rates; issuing tickets.

* Completes foreign travel requirements by obtaining visa, permit, and medical regulations; completing forms; providing information to obtain currency.

* Prepares travel packet by assembling itinerary, maps, tickets, confirmations, visas and related documents, baggage tags, emergency resources, insurance options, etc.

* Collects payment by entering and verifying scheduled services and charges; computing total; obtaining credit card charge, check, or cash.

* Maintains resource of travel options by traveling carriers and visiting destinations; assembling, filing, and updating directories, brochures, pamphlets, guides, timetables, etc.

* Obtains refunds and adjustments by completing claim forms.

* Promotes travel by selling tour packages and special events; speaking to community groups.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


Requirements:
*  Minimum of 5 years of Corporate Travel Consultant Experience
*  Minimum of 3 years on SABRE
*  Mid office Quality Control knowledge is a plus
*  Excellent Skills in the following areas:  Follow-up, Organization, Analytical, Flexibility, Customer Service, Written and Verbal Communication, and Time Management.
*  Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally.
*  Must demonstrate positive teamwork and professional behavior.
*  Professional and have the ability to work with minimum
   supervision.


Strategic Objectives:
*  Operate within company standards in the areas of customer service, productivity, quality standards and operating procedures.
*  Thorough knowledge of the travel industry including proficiency on the applicable GDS systems. Proper utilization of GDS System to help improve company commitment to the vendor.
*  Utilize preferred vendors to maximize profit for the company.
*  The ability to solve problems and make decisions
*  Continuously suggest improvements to benefit the team and organization.
*  Ensure that customers travel policies are followed and documented.


Department Objectives / Tasks: *  Follow company procedures, guidelines and standards in the areas of customer service, building and updating PNRs, ticketing attendance, and punctuality.
*  Assist peers and work together as a team.
*  Stay fully informed of all airline rules and regulations and other industry requirements and accurately apply this information when making travel arrangements.
*  Meet all Department goals/objectives as outlined in Consultant Incentive.
*  Document Lost Savings on each applicable reservation.
*  Be on time and ready to work at your designated scheduled.
*  Monitoring expenses and controlling costs to ensure a profitable branch.
*  Ability to work extended hours as client and workload demands dictate.
*  Assists with follow-up on company comments or other client-input vehicles either in writing or by dealing directly with client to resolve any service problems.
*  Keep Owner promptly and fully informed of all matters of significance.
*  Attend Training  as needed.
